A real rollercoaster of a book: When Charlie is swept up into a new job as Winter Consul in a world where the Ice Age continued and most humans hibernate over the coldest season, they* have just one aim: survive.
Charlie is thrown into a crazy world where nothing is as it seems. I can't emphasize that enough - nothing is as it seems, resulting in loss, split personalities, reality in dreams, regret, and so much more.

*This book is written in first person perspective and Charlie is never referred to as a specific sex or gender. You can imagine absolutely anyone into the role.
