The Gunners

This had all the makings of my favorite kind of book—a close friend group, found family, different personalities, secrets, coming of age. But it ended up just being very average, nothing special. The characters felt very one-dimensional and no one had any development, the writing had no depth, there was no plot. It wasn’t a bad book, but I’ve read many others with the same kind of theme/concept that were leagues better than this one
