So, this was exactly what I was looking for: a story that is nothing other than an easy, trope-y read. I got a kick out of how OBVIOUS the "whodunnit" was (). This is more a mark of shame for me than the book, but this is the first time in which I saw EVERY plot twist coming from a mile away. However, the characters are interesting enough--and dysfunctional enough--that I was entertained. Don't open this book thinking you'll get anything spectacular. But definitely open this book if you want to give your brain a rest.
