What a whirlwind! My heart was beating wildly for almost every chapter of this book.
A hockey Mafia Romance.
Issac, being the hot, dimpled, good boy all-star. Knows he soon has to not be that guy anymore. He has to be a monster to follow his family line. He meets Tovah who brings out his real monster, one just for her.
Tovah has had to be on alert for most of her life. Uses journalism school to protect and fight for herself. She re-meets her child-hood soulmate. Who ends up being a monster and starts to ruin her life. Only to become an intense need as well.
This book is definitely a dark romance, and it is advised that you read the trigger warnings before hand. This book is majorly spicy 🔥 🔥 🔥. A bully romance for sure.
Both characters have a lot of fight in them for different reasons and are obviously made for each other and match each other's darkness.
Also, any book that will mention Almost Famous is a instant win for me.
