A great follow up to Lobizona. I would say that Lobizona was a little bit better but the second half of Cazadores was really great.

Continuing the story of Manu and her friends on the run as they try to figure out how to maker jet Lobizona status légal and find her a place in the Septimus world.

The story is another great examination of what it is like for those labeled illegal or feeling misgendered. All of the emotional notes hit really well and they're thought out.

As a fantasy novel in itself the writing is fine. Where the speed of Lobizona felt like a good introduction book this novel felt a little rushed. The tense moments could have been expanded on or drawn out to add suspense and I think she struggles with writing action sequences.
