Pandora's Seed: The Unforeseen Cost of Civilization by Spencer Wells

informative medium-paced

4.5

I went into this book with no knowledge or expectations because I just pulled it off the shelf at the library and took it home because it sounded cool. I really enjoyed! I don’t read a lot of nonfiction, but I found this book really enjoyable and it had a lot of fascinating information. Covered a lot of topics I’m really interested in, and provided a lot of interesting takes that I didn’t expect. It was a little dense and scientific-y at times, but for the most part it’s pretty easy to understand and presents the information pretty clearly. Some of the info is pretty outdated at this point because it’s from 2010, but mostly it holds up. Overall, enjoyable and fascinating, learned a lot of cool information!
