The most incredible debut. A cosy romantasy set in a magical woodland. The magic is subtle yet powerful and great for anyone wanting to get into the genre. Oak and Fern are brilliant characters. Both likeable but with enough behind them to give them some bite. The books subtle nuisances work perfectly and just add to the magic of the story. I flew through it in just over 24 hours and already can’t wait for book 2!
