The Little Sisters of Eluria by Stephen King

2.0

Little Sisters is a short novella that is supposed to give us a glimpse into the world of Roland and the Black Tower. It is promoted as a short that can stand on its own two feet even for those that are unfamiliar with the series. If that is true, then I guess I will be going no further with the series. Ronald fell flat, the views on religion and magic had no appeal, the zombies and vampires both were so poorly described/explained that there was nothing to pull me in. It was a fine time killer for a short airplane flight but also completely forgettable.

I have had my eye on the Dark Tower series for a while now? Should I read it? Is it a waste of my time? My attitude is about the same as what I have thought of the Dresden Files. I finally did start reading those but killed the series only a few books in. This time I am not going to bother.
