Red Fox by Karina Halle

4.0

Perry and Dex are back after their not so successful first paranormal Internet debut it didn't go that well. But they have a new gig lined up off to New Mexico to Red Fox and the strange happenings going on there- 4 chilling, spine-tingling and Perry and Dex rocking stars.

In Red Fox the Navajo live some stick to the old ways over have turned their backs on it. In this case Will and Sarah Lancater needs help. Perry and Dex are contacted by his old college friend Maximus. On the ranch rocks have been thrown against windows, animals have been slaughtered. There is more to all this then Perry and Dex can see. Lies, lies and more lies.

After a scary event involved with a fox Perry decides to for a walk on the ranch but gets further from the then expected. The unexpected happens.

He sighed and rolled his eyes-"Unbelievable. I leave you alone for two hours and you fall off a cliff, get attacked by a crow and a snake explodes all over you."

Perry has weird dreams of what is happening even before she left Portland. An insight to the myths and legends was really interesting and made this book a pleasure to read.

"The truth is in the fire," a voice whispered behind me.

In the end Perry and Dex can't believe what happened. Perry and Dex are alike in some ways in others not so much. Not sure on who to trust.

"So many secrets, so many blind eyes."

Ms. Halle made the right choice in keeping the seris to the mininum as in nine books and didn't go over the top as most authors do just to milk it and make money. I reckon that Dex has feelings for Perry but due to his past he wants to play it safe and stay with Jenn form Wine Babes.
