This was a childhood friends to lovers romance, it was a fun and light read. I expected more of a sports romance because of the cover but it read more like a college romance that talked about sports without actually including it. I felt like the main conflict was a bit dramatic, I don’t think its realistic to hold a grudge for 6 years just because someone lashed out a week after their mom died….anyways this had big high school vibes even though our main characters are in college. I do have to admit that I enjoyed the spice ✨it was pretty well done and one of best aspects. I didn’t love this but I also didn’t hate it. Would I recommend it? Only if it’s only KU, don’t mind the WattPad vibes and you’re into brother’s best friend and/or friends to lovers.
