Wrangling the Cowboy by Kennedy Fox
4.0

It has been a hot minute since I’ve been with the Bishop family and let me just say this, it was so amazing and fun being back on the ranch. Granted the only book I’ve read is Needing Him but oh man the lasting impression this family leaves will warm your heart. This large family loves unconditionally. They know how to work hard and play harder. Well anyways in this spin off series of the Bishop brothers quartet, the kids are all grown up and this book is about the lovely 24 almost 25 year old Maize. She is the head chef/cook for her family’s B&B on the ranch. She is in charge of planning weekly menus and making sure all guests and ranch hands are fed. She is also a walking definition of “once bitten, twice shy”. She has been burned in the past when she fell in love with a cowboy and he left. Enter 35 year old retired bull rider Gavin. They meet at a bar, they hit it off, and then they hit the sheets. Come morning, Maize is gone and Gavin is left dumbfounded. Little do they know that Gavin is the new cowboy her family has hired to help with the horses. What follows is a bunch of denial on Maize’s part and hot as hell flirting on Gavin’s part. I loved this book so much. Kennedy Fox knows how to write fast paced cowboy romances. Seriously no one writes them like Kennedy Fox.

Read this if you like:
-cowboy/ranch romances
-age gaps
-one night stands
-workplace romance
-angsty romance
-southern charm
-big and warm families
-hot chemistry
-small town
