My favorite of the Earthsea books so far I think. Magic is seeping out of the world and those who practice it are slowly forgetting their powers. Ged, now Archmage and an old man, must find the source of this evil and care for the young ward who accompanies him on this great quest.

Great fun and exemplary of all of what makes Le Guin a wonderful author.
