Why We Remember: Unlocking Memory's Power to Hold on to What Matters by Charan Ranganath

informative reflective medium-paced

4.5

I am a cognitive psychologist and a neuroscientist and despite my extensive training in the field I found the book quite informative and pleasant to listen to (I had the audio version). I think some people may find it too technical at places, but for me it was a very good balance between facts and narratives. The last chapters are also very practically oriented, which many will find helpful.
