I really enjoyed this book! I liked how the author spoke about black experiences and issues, but did so with a fantasy element at play. I enjoyed the characters and found that there was enough mystery and suspense to keep me engaged. I think this book had many great points about very big and real issues which I enjoyed.

Overall,  very enjoyable read!
