The Devil's Panties by Laura Gosnell, Jennie Breeden

5.0

I now have another favourite webcomic, thanks to Jennie Breeden's booth at the Calgary Comic Expo. I had heard of The Devils' Panties before, but never got around to reading it. After reading two pages of this book, I was sold.

The character of Jen is like secret me, so I giggled like crazy when I was reading it. I probably laugh as much reading The Devil's Panties as I do reading Dork Tower, and that's saying something.

I also loved the commentary included at the end of the book. It's so great to hear the stories behind the story.

The only part of the book that really didn't excite me was the undead series at the end that seemed to have no real tie to the rest of the book, other than being created by the author. Frankly, I found the real-life stuff much more interesting, though I did absolutely love the Undead Snoopy Dance.

I can't wait to put the rest of these books into my collection.

Note on my first re-read - the fairy princess is my favourite alter ego. And this is still my favourite book in the series so far (on to Vol 4!)
