Truly awesome! Most of us have been waiting for what felt like centuries for [b:Origin|13644052|Origin (Lux, #4)|Jennifer L. Armentrout|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1373048174s/13644052.jpg|19259997] to come out, so we could find out what was going to happen after Daemon lost Katy to Daedalus, which was probably one of the biggest cliff hangers in years. What else were we looking forward to? The fact that there would now be Daemon's POV as well. Normally, I always feel like that could ruin a book but I haven't been wanting to get into Daemon's head for awhile now. I mean, who doesn't want to know what he's thinking!?!? I was right, I loved seeing his POV.

Now to the story line of the book. Honestly, I wasn't quite sure what I was expecting to happen for Daemon to try and rescue Katy back from the evil Daedalus, but I really didn't think it would go down the way that it did. It seemed to....easy?? I don't even know if that is the right word. I just felt like I built up so much suspense in [b:Opal|13362536|Opal (Lux, #3)|Jennifer L. Armentrout|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1348200300s/13362536.jpg|18591132] I thought the break in/rescue would be more... off the charts?! Don't get me wrong, by the time the real "break out" plan came into play, the action was starting to happen.

We finally get the inside look at Area 51 and behind the actions of what Daedalus is really trying to accomplish. It was kind of sketchy. I didn't know what were lies, what were truth, or if all of it was a big fat lie, or all extremely true. Katy had to endure some pretty horrible things, but we all were expecting that right? I don't know, honestly I thought the first half
Spoilerokay maybe everything until they broke out
was kind of slow and less exciting. I was kind of disappointed. Maybe I just set myself up for so much more craziness because of how [b:Opal|13362536|Opal (Lux, #3)|Jennifer L. Armentrout|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1348200300s/13362536.jpg|18591132] ended, but I didn't feel satisfied. *sigh* bad right?

By the last 20% or so, the book finally took off. Not only did the real action and craziness get started, but Katy and Daemon reminded us how amazingly in love they are. I felt like re-reading just those few chapters over again just to feel the warm fuzzy's around my heart :)Katy and Daemon truly are the greatest couple out there. I loved the little tid-bit of [b:Sweet Evil|11808950|Sweet Evil (The Sweet Trilogy, #1)|Wendy Higgins|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1337613719s/11808950.jpg|16762455] that came out into the book as well. I think I actually said "that is awesome!" out loud. Daemon and Kaidan are both extremely swoon worthy so I think it couldn't have been more fitting. ;)

We met some awesome new characters as well. Archer, one of the guards at Daedalus is one of them. We all know how hard it was to trust Blake, and I'm sure all of us trusted him at one point so of course I had my doubts about Archer. Btw,
SpoilerI thought it was awesome how Katy finally killed Blake out of the hurt and anger she had towards him, but I also thought it happened way to quickly and way to abruptly. Blake deserved a slow and painful death.
lame lame lame!!

We also learn the true meaning behind the title of "Origin" and the new species that no one was expecting. You thought you were worried about Arum?? Worried about badass Luxen?? Think again. There is something else you should be much more afraid of!

The ending didn't have a huge cliff hanger like in the last book, which in a way I was kind of relieved about. No one wants to endure that much pain and heartbreak and have to wait for months and months to help fill the whole in their heart! But none the less, it still ended with the set up of something out-of-this-world (no pun intended lol) about to go down. So unfortunately, your still going to be ansy on getting your hands on the 5th book in the series.

hold on to your shorts people!!
