Four by Veronica Roth
3.0

This is something I really needed from the series.
You see I was pretty fed up with the book's by the time that I got the third one. I felt that the characters lost the chemistry they had in the first book and the story got slower and slower. Also, the plot of the two sequels got scrambled up somehow and put back together rather quickly and haphazardly. I wasn't happy with the way the story ended. Four kind of brought me some perspective on how the characters used to be and I got an idea of why the characters ended up the way they did. it showed me how much they changed and how they didn't. I wasn't always a fan of Tobias's POV ,but I didn't mind it too much. Even though most of what I read was just everything I knew about him in detail, I still enjoyed hearing his thoughts while all these dramatic changes happened in his life. I especially loved it when he first met up his mother ,because I felt that had kind of been looked over in Insurgent. I thought it was kind of a big deal who his mother turned out to be and everyone took it in stride. One thing I got board with was when he was with Tris. I was kind of hoping to get a bit more insight into what about her drew him towards her but it was like re-reading Divergent. There was hardly any difference in the narration. Overall, I did like it. So I guess I just expected more out of it than I got.
