This was a pretty chill read. I liked it, even though I don’t think it needed to be more than 200 pages. It felt dragged out by page 300 seeing as it’s not a complicated story when it came to the plot. It wasn’t the kind of humor to get a “HAHA” out of me but I can’t lie and say it wasn’t entertaining at times. The characters were amusing. It was refreshing reading about vampires who were old but had cringy and quirky personalities. There were times when it felt a bit overdone, though.

I wasn’t feeling it much toward the end, unfortunately. I’m not sure why but I kinda got tired of the story and I honestly think it’s because it should’ve been shorter. I pushed through though. Also, the cover should’ve been her chasing him in my opinion lol. And I need to say, I’m happy the protagonist is thirty, at least! God, I’m trying to get back into vampire books but it’s hard when MCs are always teenagers and a centuries-old bag.
