I really enjoyed this book up to about 80% through. It was funny, cute and just made you want to root for the couple. I love the avid fan x person fan of trope. However I didn't love a choice that was made. It basically went against a major reason she fell for him, that he supported her independence and didnt make her feel like she wasnt her own person. Respected her choics. And no matter how selfless his intentions (I love that he did grow to be a little selfless) his actions were not. He ripped away her choice. That is one thing. But the fact that her parents support his decision and make her feel like she's being prideful for being hurt was nuts. Then her agreeing and apologizing for how she felt and how she didn't see how right he was pissed me off. I felt it ruined who the author had built the character to be. And how easily she accepts marrying him after that?? I did like the development but at the same time it was a bit ridiculous how his behavior was. I dont really love "girl changes boy" trope.
