Cavanaugh by Joshua Kornreich

4.0

Not entirely sure what to make of this one. It’s a bizarre comedy about a man named Cavanaugh who gets pressured into buying his daughter a Brett Kavanaugh bobblehead, and how that decision leads to his… downfall, I guess? Or at least some strange, drunken odyssey. It was honestly really funny and kept me interested, even as it gradually devolved to the point where I knew the ending wouldn’t satisfy me.
