I remember this one being my favorite of the series when I was younger. And, I can see why.
For a “kid” series, this book handles trauma so well. The leading up to the revolution and the plans and Katniss’ inner monologue (which I forgot how exactly unhinged this girl is) is all done so well.
Finishing it made me wish I could read the last line of “There is no District Twelve” for the first time again. I remember 12 year-old-me was shook.
