Girl, Stolen
by April Henry
Right from the first chapter, I was pulled into the tension — and I needed to know how everything would play out. The FMC is blind!
The pacing was tight, with short chapters that made it easy to fly through. I really appreciated how her blindness wasn’t treated as a limitation, but rather a key part of her strength. The way she navigated danger using her instincts, memory, and spatial awareness added a whole new level of tension. It made every scene more intense — especially when she was alone or being chased.
This is a great pick if you’re in the mood for a fast, intense read that combines crime and survival.
