It feels kind of weird rating and reviewing this book. It was so short it's hard to say anything much about it. But I had a lovely time reading this. I think Lim perfectly captured the spirit and the characterisations of the disney's (animated) little mermaid, and I liked the way the story was played with to explore this "what if" idea. It couldn't really go into much detail for how short it is - I read it all completely in one sitting - but it was good for what it was and what it was trying to do.
