This story was definitely not my vibe, but it wasn't bad. I read this to go out of my comfort zone and have determined it is out of my comfort zone for a good reason. The froo-froo magic storyline in this story comes off as simply overly cheesy for me. If I'm gonna enjoy a cozy mystery story, it should probably lack fantastical elements.
In terms of more objective thoughts, this story tried to balance two different but connected storylines but didn't do it particularly well. The wedding drama felt rather disjointed from the murder until the very end.
