Writing with a child audience in mind, "Will My Cat Eat My Eyeballs," is nonetheless a pretty approachable book about lots of morbid 'what ifs,' written by a mortician! The scenarios are fascinating (from 'can i keep the bones' to 'what's the white light when you die' to 'what happens if you die IN SPACE') and while the overviews are pretty brief, there are at least lots of footnotes in the back. I have been left with more questions and some immoveable sadness, but also the warm glow of knowledge.
