I enjoyed this story. Vi Keeland is a good writer. Some of the twists were predictable. Some of the characters kept me guessing if they were good or bad. While the end did trick me, I thought it wasn’t flushed out enough. The last chapter had the help of some unrealistic bows to tie it up and needed further explanation. Be aware there is graphic content and sensitive topics in this book so please be diligent to seek trigger warnings if needed.
