Sadie by Courtney Summers

I'm very sad to say that I didn't like this book, because I know a lot of my friends loved it. This is a thriller, and I've read a few thrillers this year so I had the taste of it. But as I read Sadie, I wasn't intrigued by what would happen, I wasn't thrilled to discover, because it was so slow and it didn't pull me into being curious. I paused my reading at page 175 or something and took it back a month later to help out my Goodreads challenge and to just see if the book gets better, but for me it didn't. I personally found the scenes a bit boring except for a few ones.
I think that if I read a thriller, it needs to keep you on the edge of your seat, not make you want to close the book.

I did try to like it, for my friends and for myself, because I usually never dislike a book, but it didn't work for me and I honestly think any other person can adore it or hate it. I was given both opinions so far.

What I did love about the book is the podcast idea, and also how Sadie's relationship to her sister is beautifully described throughout the book. And also the abuse theme in the book was portrayed like it should've and I do believe that was a very good part of the book.

The ending was the only part that actually gave me a little something inside. It's the only part I believe to have liked reading of the book honestly.
