Ms. Marvel (2014-2015) #2 by Adrian Alphona, Jamie McKelvie, G. Willow Wilson

This is amazing. It's nothing like I'd ever normally read, and it's mostly thanks to the excitement of [a:Tamora Pierce|8596|Tamora Pierce|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/authors/1209044273p2/8596.jpg] about this title that I've ended up reading it. I'd taken in buzz about it from elsewhere, but it was her squee-ing posts that pushed me into reading it. I really enjoyed the first issue, and this issue continues the brilliance. The writing is great, it's humorous and touching; the part about courage and costumes particularly demonstrates this. I know nothing about Ms/Captain Marvel at all, so I don't know if her size-changing powers go with the character or not, but they're certainly interesting. I'm really looking forward to the rest of these issues and seeing where it goes!
