“Heart of the Shadow King” is the incredible conclusion to Sylvia Mercedes’ fantasy romance trilogy, Bride of the Shadow King.
Mercedes somehow manages to capture my attention from beginning to end, and once I start reading, I don’t want to stop.
Vorr and Faraine have the kind of love story that should be written in the stars. Their chemistry was off the charts, and I loved the slow burn vibes.
The ending was bittersweet for me, because I’ve grown so attached to this world and these characters that I know I’m going to miss them now that I’ve finished reading. But I was so pleased with how it ended, and I definitely recommend!
