Interesting and a reminder of a need for an inherent concept in performance art (not just about about endurance). Ulay waiting on the Great Wall rather than walking to meet Abramović. Yes, one that is self-referential (art and modernism), but not this later parade of holy people and spirituality "all the bad performance artists were becoming bad painters. Even important artists" turned to making objects.
