Oh, I liked this one.
Connor is like I love my characters - a loner with a bunch of friends who help him and is just there for him in whatever way he needs or not needs them. Being hurt in the past and still struggling with that. Having lost all abilites and now trying to deal with that. I just like him.
I really like this world - the fey being somehow thrown in our world - and how it works. I really, really, really like the flits. Small, loyal and fierce when you hurt one of their own or someone they care about.
The case was good too. I guessed some things and some things surprised me.
Some things were repeated/explained a few times which made me roll my eyes and think I know that already! but all in all I enjoyed reading this book very much.
