Loveless is a cute and heartbreaking story of self-discovery. It's a sweet queer story that portrays the struggles of being both ace and aro in a world that doesn't even believe its real. It's an unenviable position to be learning about yourself in your late teens, but how much more so when there's no language to describe who you are?
The story can be messy, frustrating, and raw. The characters clash and give the wrong advice and are used. Georgia is a young and flawed protagonist, and her friends are only human too. What Loveless shows is the redemption, healing, and growth that comes with friendships. That platonic relationships can be just as deep and meaningful as romantic ones.
As someone on the aroace spectrum, this story was very special to me.
