I really enjoyed this fast-paced (kind of thriller) read! A student gave a book talk on it, and now two others (and I) have read it. It's also on the Rebecca Caudill list this year. Michael Vey is one of those kids that gets picked on just for being himself. He has Tourette's Syndrome and only one great friend - Ostin. Suddenly things turn for the worst when he gets sick and tired of being bullied and "zaps" the three bullies with his powers that he's not supposed to use. At that point, of course, a popular cheerleader (Taylor) witnesses the entire thing...
