Blood Witch by M. Sinclair

A solid 2nd book in the series with a cliffhanger that leaves you ready for book 3!

Our FMC isn't quite as spunky as she is in book one but she definitely fall to annoying sniveling twit level so it's a tolerable shift.

The MMCs shift from horny possessive obsessive psychos to I want to protect and keep her safe energy a bit more than I would like. But again, it's not too much and they keep the spice going.

The plot obviously takes priority in book 2 which I can't complain too much about because it's definitely interesting. There are a few gaps, and I wonder why they even introduced the concept of familiars since there's not much done with them. But overall it's a good read and doesn't make you disappointed you kept going with the series.
