An Absolutely Remarkable Thing by Hank Green

5.0

What. The. Hell.

When I found out the dude who taught me science had a book I didn't think much of it but this book was so intense and beautiful.

April May is such a complex Character you can't help but relate to, but even so, her relationships. It was little things like the sexuality that didn't feel like it was being thrown in for fun, and the way she interacted with everyone including her fans and the Carl's.
The best part about a science teacher writing a book is when he said I could find that element in a smoke detector. I believed him.

But y'know what killed me. That ending. Hank himself directly spoiled it with the "won't sleep this well until I die" comment. But still. I cried.

All I know is I NEED the next book and you need to read this one
