All miscommunications and conflict bet the two was understandable to some extent.  

Although self-aware, my girl, Lana, made some questionable decisions fueled by heightened emotions (a foreshadowing from the 1st book,).

It's 3 am and I cant stop, cliffhanger is cliffhanger-ing.
