There are not enough words for me to a review that'll justify how I feel about this book. But I'll try and form sentences that end up making sense and show how much I loved this book.
It was everything I needed it to be, but also so much more.
The abuse rep in the book... It's done so perfectly. It hit me so close to heart. I was aching for Iris. My heart was aching for her so much. Her journey of healing, choosing herself, meant so much to me.
August... This man has me convinced that there are no men like him in the real world. Fictional men do it like no one. He was perfect for Iris.
You could see their chemistry oozing out of the pages.
The writing is so beautiful. I didn't want to put the book down at any point.
This book, their story... Will always hold a special place in my heart. It'll always be precious to me.
Iris and August will always be special🤍
