denoflinz 's review for:
Pack Rivals: Part Two
by Hannah Haze
I enjoyed the conclusion to this duet!
SPOILERS
It starts with Bea being kidnapped from/by the clinic she went to for her heat since both packs let her down. Both packs set aside their differences to go rescue her.. only to find her in the process of rescuing herself.
This part stuck out a bit because of the action. We dive back in at such a tense time, and now they are armed and charging into the building where she's being kept. Bullets are flying and they successfully get her into a car and to safety.
But until the end of the book there is no other action nearly as intense and dangerous- so it did make it feel like the book dragged on a bit, but I truly did enjoy seeing glimpses from so many different Alphas' POV on all of the situations, and how they each began to repair the bond with Bea.
The ending was sweet and wrapped up very nicely. I'm pleased with the conclusion of Bea and her packs' story!
