A Happy Death by Albert Camus

reflective sad medium-paced

3.0

Written before The Stranger, this book carries some familiar elements and with it questions about the meaning of life and our existence in it. Some of the themes were “of the time” and don’t carry the same weight as today. In fact, in light of recent world events, it may have been bad timing on my part. Trigger warning for depressive themes, death, and self-serving misogyny.
