I felt the story had such a great build-up, but unfortunately the delivery came up short. I had some issues with the pacing and with how there were so many interesting plot point that were never explored or touched upon again after being mentioned once... It just ended up feeling a bit lackluster.
The most enjoyable part of the book for me were the characters. Usually I care more about the storyline than the characters but in this particular story the cast of characters were what truly made the book a bit special.
Idk... I can't say I didn't like it because I did enjoy it, but it just felt unfinished and I wanted more - more of the lore, more of the characters, more of the story, wanted to know how it all tied together, but I guess I'll never know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
