You ever start reading an interconnected standalone series and there’s two people you just can’t wait to get their own book? This is the PERFECT example!! I have been patiently waiting for Tripp and Penny’s story and this did not disappoint.

I will say, I was surprised how fast the romance picked up. But at the same time, their time was coming quickly and well deserved. And the drama!!! I was kind of expecting part of it, considering how fast paced this seemed, but it still kept me on the edge of my seat.

I was also surprised on Penny’s personality and the way she takes charge in the bedroom with Tripp! 🥵 I, definitely, wasn’t expecting that, but it was so much fun to read. Them spicy scenes were spicy!!

I’ve been reading Siena Trap’s work from, almost, the very beginning (my first ARC was Playing Pretend with the Prince), and I’m still obsessed with her work. I can’t get enough of the found family, the tension, the banter, the romance, all of it.

As always, a huge thank you to Siena for the eARC of Crashing the Altar, and I can’t wait to see how this series ends with the next book!!
