Did not finish book. Stopped at 12%.

Very very talented writer! Just not what I was expecting or looking for. I’ll probably pick it back up when I’m looking for something more “meta” and abstract. I expected an emotional narrative. This isn’t that, though it is a very skilled narrative that experiments with form and a large cast well before postmodern fiction acknowledged those things as requiring any talent at all.
