A beautiful volume full of bittersweet stories. The large gaps between eras were more apparent in this one, and it might be beneficial to read this soon after the first volume in order to keep track of the recurring characters through the ages. A few typos/QC issues as with other Fantagraphics manga I've read, but overall they weren't too distracting.
