just finished winter in sokcho and i really like it! i had so many thoughts towards the ending. i'm quite disappointed yet satisfied with how it ended. i really thought kerrand was going to die or that the story would take a twisted, morbid turn with them being poisoned by the puffer fish, but no.

i really like how the book interweaves bits and pieces of korean history, myths, and legends.

i started reading this book not knowing what it was about, just jumping into it, which isn't something i normally do. i chose it because i found the cover to be beautiful.

no plot, just vibes.
