There was a lot of interesting information here, but I didn't always find it easy to follow because the chapters jump around a little. I also wish Kaltenegger had spent a bit longer discussing what we already know about exoplanets, because a lot of the science she describes is about the formation of the Earth. That said, it really helped me appreciate the different areas of science which goes into investigating the universe. I liked how her enthusiasm came through in her writing when she discusses her research and I also enjoyed that she included her perspective on being a woman working in her field.
