I sobbed threw different times in the last 40 pages - so hard that I could no longer read the words on the page. I knew how it was going to end, but I kept hoping for something different. I just wanted Milori and Clarion to be happy. God knows they deserved it. But instead they got this tragic love story with an ending I knew was coming. I noticed about 3/4 of the way through the book that Milori didn't have functional wings in the picture on the cover. And I knew what it meant. But I was so unprepared for how fully upset I was. But I mean honestly, this was a masterpiece. If there was a king of yearning/pining, it would be Milori. I've read a LOT of romance, and I've never read something so obviously pure and caring as every time Allison Saft described the way he looked at Clarion. I was never a huge Tinker Bell fan as a child, but I do think I watched most of the movies. This was a nice jump back into that universe.
