First & foremost id love to say thank you for allowing me to be an arc reader for this book. I discovered this series back in July when one of my friends suggested I read it and I fell in love with it. I read the entire series in 4 days. I absolutely love visiting Boredeaux. I loved getting to read this story unfold. This particular book follows Shannon & Duke. Duke is Shannon’s older brothers best friend. So he’s off-limits. Or is he? Both Duke & Shannon have had feelings for each other for years but never told each other and never acted on it until now. Shannon accidentally butt dials Duke and he listens in and hears Shannon tell her roomie and bff Jayme that she has feelings for him. So when Jamie comes over a few days later to help him plan her brothers surprise coming home party one thing leads to another & they kiss for the first time. They decide to keep their relationship a secret from the town (HAHA) until after Chris gets home from the army and they can tell him first. Except Chris comes home early and catches them holding hands and looking cozy while out to dinner with their friends. I loved reading their story. I absolutely have loved Shannon and Duke since they were introduced back in other books and I’m so glad I got to read their story. I can’t wait for you guys to read this. It’s so so good.
