God I have so many thoughts about this. I’m currently going through a divorce AND I have a therapist AND I’m bisexual, so in places, this was a hard read. But overall, it made me feel SO much better about myself. The main character is insufferable. Truly one of the most irritating people I have never met. You can tell the writing is clever - but wasted on this story, which had no plot, felt rushed towards the end, and generally read like someone’s unedited diary. If that was the plan, then bravo. But it was a slog to get through and I felt aggravated every time I picked it up.
