Blake Crouch is back with another entertaining thriller, and I'm so glad it's much more Dark Matter than Recursion. It's not particularly breaking new ground, there are definitely books and movies out there that approach this topic with more nuance and complexity, but that's not really what I read Blake Crouch for - I read him for fast-paced, engaging sci-fi thrills, which is exactly what I got from Upgrade.
