I knew after 50 pages that I was gonna give this 5 stars cause I think about them at least once a week. This book will always be special to me as being the duet that got me into reading and as the book that got me into dark romance. The connection that zade and Addie have is something that feels so real and alive and I absolutely love that. Addies character arc from start to end was done incredibly well and I felt so many emotions towards her which is always a good thing. I thought I remembered zade pretty well but this reread proved me wrong and I’m so glad it did because seeing him as someone who actually was weak when it came to Addie but indestructible to everyone else was amazing. I’ve now read this book three times once every year since I got into reading and I don’t regret it at all because of how much I love it.
